Everyone wants to get a great summer body so they can look fabulous at the beach. It takes a lot of hard work and dedication, but anyone can get a perfect beach body if they are willing to put in the effort. Here are five tips for creating and maintaining the perfect summer body.

1. Start Swimming

Swimming is one of the most phenomenal total body workouts imaginable. If you want to ensure that every inch of your body looks fabulous in a swimsuit, then start spending several hours a week swimming laps in the pool. Not only will it transform your body, but it will also help you to have fun swimming at the beach this summer.

2. Strength Training

Doing some strength training is essential for creating a great summer body. Whether you want to bulk up or just look toned, doing strength training three times a week will help your body to look its best. Defining your muscles with strength training also makes you look better when you get tan during the summer.

3. Cardio

If you do a lot of swimming, then you will get plenty of cardio training in. If swimming is not your thing, then you need to find some other form of cardio exercise that you like. The number one key to slimming down for a perfect beach body is to remove fat through lots of cardio work. It doesn’t matter how great your muscles are if there is fat above them. You need to put in the time doing cardio to get rid of all of this fat.

4. Avoid the Carbs

If you want to get the best summer body, then you need to start burning fat. The only way to do this is to burn more calories than you consume. One of the best ways to eliminate calories from your diet is to cut out all the empty carbohydrate calories you are consuming. This means eliminating the nutritionally deficient foods like white bread, white rice and desserts. Eliminating these empty carbs is a great way to trim the fat and get a super summer body. Sticking to a strict diet and eating this like meal replacement shakes will help you keep the carbs away.

5. Run Some Hills

One area of almost every person’s body they wish looked better in a swimsuit is there booty. If you want to cut the fat and define your booty, then one of the best ways is to run lots of stairs or hills. Running stairs or hills two or three times a week is a great way for you to get the perfect beach bum.
